The loop
Four words on the tin. No fifth. Here’s how I actually use them.
BluRoo’s brand line is stubborn on purpose: move. eat. measure. repeat. I didn’t want a mission statement you could hang on a wall and ignore. I wanted a sequence I have to walk through before the day counts as done.
MOVE
Training first — not because cardio is morality, but because the body marks the day. Lifts, intervals, a long walk if recovery is cooked. Whatever got done goes on camera in short beats. No highlight reel. If it was ugly, the cut can still be clean; the effort stays real.
EAT
Fuel on the blue placemat. Plates get filmed. Protein and calories get logged. The point isn’t aesthetic food content. It’s closing the gap between “I’m eating well” and what actually hit the bowl. High-level fuel only — calories, macros, burn. No labs, no meds, no medical theatre.
MEASURE
Sleep, strain, recovery, the simple board that keeps me from arguing with myself. Numbers aren’t a personality. They’re a mirror. Some days the mirror is kind. Some days it isn’t. Both belong in the loop.
REPEAT
A BluRoo score and three improvements. Then tomorrow. Repeat is the hardest word because it kills the fantasy of a perfect week. You’re allowed a mid score. You’re not allowed to vanish for a fortnight and call it “resetting.”
As an entrepreneur I live in systems. This one is small on purpose. Four beats. Prior-day Short. Public enough that I can’t quietly rewrite history. Private enough that it’s still my life, not a clinic brochure.
The site mirrors the same order. Day’s receipts on the home page. Nutrition for the fuel table behind the plates. Blog when a day needs more than forty-nine seconds of context. None of that replaces the Short — it supports it. The Short is the receipt; everything else is the filing cabinet.
If you’re here reading, use the loop as curiosity — not a prescription. N=1. My body, my calendar, my receipts. Your loop, if you build one, should fit your constraints and your clinician’s advice when you need it.
That’s the whole pitch. Keep the line locked. Walk it daily. Film the proof. Then do it again. move. eat. measure. repeat.
N=1 personal log. Not medical advice. Not a training or nutrition protocol for anyone else.
